Explore New Destinations with Oasis!

Washington Metro Oasis is excited to offer a new selection of overnight trips in partnership with AFC Vacations and fellow Oasis participants from the Rochester and Syracuse Oasis centers. These trips are a wonderful opportunity to explore new destinations while traveling with a group of like-minded travelers from the Oasis community.

Want to learn more before you decide? Join us for a virtual Trip Information Session on Monday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m. A representative from AFC Vacations will share information about the upcoming 2027 trips and answer your questions. You can watch the session from the comfort of your home, or join us at the Oasis Center to view the session with fellow participants. We hope you’ll join us and start planning your next adventure!

Looking for a fun way to connect with fellow Oasis participants? Join us for the first Oasis Lunch Bunch Social – a new opportunity to enjoy lunch, conversation, and good company with other members of the Oasis community.Our first gathering will be:

Nordstrom’s Ruscello Café at Westfield Montgomery Mall

The Lunch Bunch is designed to be a relaxed, informal way to meet new people and connect with old friends. The first gathering will be led by Oasis volunteer Winnie Feldman.

Space for this first gathering is limited, so please RSVP in advance. As interest grows, Lunch Bunch groups may expand to multiple tables, additional dates, or even gatherings in other nearby communities.

Oasis staff will help spread the word about upcoming Lunch Bunch Socials, while volunteer leaders will coordinate the details. We hope you’ll join us!
