Immigration is one of the most complicated issues facing U.S. policymakers today.  For those who wish to severely limit immigration, the threat to our national security is often cited as a reason.  However, there is evidence to the contrary that suggests that the U.S. military, law enforcement and intelligence services have long benefited from our status as a nation of immigrants.
