“Make Something Beautiful”

Do you have an artistic passion you’ve always wanted to share? Here’s your chance!

This fall, we’ll be launching Make Something Beautiful, a brand-new series that puts the spotlight on artists and makers right here in our own community.

Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, knit, quilt, make jewelry, do woodworking, weave, or create in any other hands-on way, your fellow Oasis members would love to learn from you. No formal teaching experience is needed, just a passion for your art or craft and a willingness to share it.

We’ll be curating a series of sessions that offers variety and broad appeal across our community, so we encourage anyone interested to express their enthusiasm. Sessions can be as simple or as detailed as you’d like.  For example, a live demonstration, a beginner project, or an introduction to a technique that others have always been curious about.

If you’re interested in leading a session, please reach out to Janice Pliner by Friday, June 5 with a brief description of your art or craft, what you’d like to share, and what a session might look like.
