An Interview with Diane Rehm

Diane Rehm, radio host, podcaster and author, joins Oasis for a special conversation about self-determination at the end of life.  In this program, Diane will be interviewed by her grandson, Benjamin Zide, about her book When My Time Comes: Conversations About Whether Those Who Are Dying Should Have the Right to Determine When Life Should End.  Through her first husband’s struggle with Parkinson’s disease, Diane experienced firsthand the enormous struggle faced by patients and their families who are coping with a terminal illness.  In her book, she interviews patients, relatives, physicians, clergy, hospice administrators, and others, discussing the pros and cons of making difficult end-of-life decisions. Time for Q&A will follow this presentation.
